3. Streamline your CSS files by removing unneeded or unused styles.

4. If you can, try and use CSS sprites to combine background images into single images.

5. If you are running a blogging site install or use a caching plug-in.

6. Keep your images lean and drop resolutions whenever you can.

7. Always specify your image sizes and dimensions.
